For sale, a rare Soulsby professional bassoon, made in the UK by renowned bassoon maker Jeremy Soulsby of Hereford, England. Soulsby made about 85 bassoons, which have achieved a high international reputation.

This particular instrument is a  well-preserved example - the varnish and plating are in amazing condition, almost like new.

Soulsby bassoons are professional instruments, suitable for playing at the highest level, and they are all unique. This  bassoon has a stunning, velvety sound, great projection and is very even in intonation.

This particular bassoon has been carefully looked after and is being sold by the second owner since it was originally purchased from Jeremy Soulsby. 

This bassoon has just received a complete overhaul by us including a full re-pad, new corks and felts, multiple bore oil, professional set up including careful spring tension balancing and much more, so is in perfect playing condition.
