A Schreiber S13 (5013) short reach bassoon in outstanding condition. This bassoon has short reach keys ideal for the smaller hands of children and smaller adults. These rarely come up for sale second hand and are in high demand.

This particular instrument was made in 2004 and although played initially has not been played for more than 15 years and so is in virtually as-new condition.

Schreiber S13 bassoons are fully short reach instruments, with most of the keys modified or lengthened to make them easier to reach. It is designed for comfort and ease of use, combined with a warm sound and good intonation.
