Heckel Crest

An outstanding Heckel Crest bassoon for sale second hand. Collected from Heckel brand new in 2011, this bassoon is contemporary with a 15000 series Heckel 41i model bassoon. It plays very similarly to a 15000 series Heckel and is a superb sounding bassoon. The bassoon plays with great evenness and is silky smooth to play on. It has some highly specified options including 15 rollers, high D and high E keys, solid silver finger hole liners, Ab/Bb trill key.

This was one of the last Crests made and is a one-owner instrument. The current waiting list for a new Heckel is in the decades, so a modern Crest is a rare opportunity and this one is near mint condition. It has not been played as much as the owner originally envisaged, and so is as close to brand new condition as it is possible for a Crest to be.
