For sale in September 2025, a superb 5000 series Heckel (57XX). This instrument has beautiful hand painted antique finish with stripes, and looks stunning - a real head turner. It plays with incredible balance and focus, and is a very fine example of a 5000 series Heckel. This series of Heckel is outstandingly free blowing and resonant. A superb professional instrument.
This example has professional keywork including high D and high E keys, whisper key lock and more.
Currently undergoing an overhaul, including a full re-pad and much more, this bassoon will be presented in outstanding playing condition when ready.
It will be available in the second half of July for trial.
