Adler Compact Contrabassoon

Just in, an Adler compact contrabassoon which plays down to low Bb. It is unusual to see the compact Adler contrabassoons - most are taller low A versions. This is a terrific example which plays with a rich, focused sound and good intonation.

One owner since new; it has been carefully looked after and is in very good cosmetic condition.

We will be overhauling it shortly, including a full re-pad, to bring it back to as-new playing condition.

This is a compact model standing just 129 cms tall, making it much more portable than the better-known low A Adler contrabassoons. 

Comes with two Adler crooks 1 and 2 in length, a KandM contra stand, spike, hand rest, and a Glenn Cronkhite gig bag in good condition.

Owing to the size of this instrument we are unable to ship it for trial but you can try it here and then take it for a more extended trial in person.
