Heckel re-finishing: the colouring stage
Heckel bassoon re-finish: the colouring stage.
Once the wood is prepared and the stripes are ready, we mix specialist dyes and apply the base colour. Here is a snapshot of the first stage of colour and finish going on. The next stage is to build up the top coat over many days. The colour will be deepened and enriched as the layers are built up.
