Made in 1996 by Heckel, this bassoon is listed in the official Heckel book, Edith Reiter's 'Wilhelm Heckel', on the Heckel serial number list. This Heckel bassoon is contemporary with a 14,000 series Heckel 41i model bassoon. It plays and looks the same as a 14,000 series Heckel and is a superb sounding instrument. It has some highly specified options including 15 rollers, high D and high E keys, solid silver finger hole liners, Ab/Bb trill key.
This Heckel Crest (Opus) bassoon is an exceptional opportunity if you want a modern Heckel bassoon. They are no longer made and they rarely come up for sale. The waiting list is for the Heckel 41i Model is famously long.
