To complete your order and pay by card through WorldPay, select "Order and Pay". VAT, post and packing to destinations in the UK are included in the price. Alternative methods of payment are accepted; please phone or email to discuss your options. We do not accept orders online from outside the UK unless you contact us first for a specific quote for post and packing to your country.
Confirmation of receipt of Order
We will confirm receipt of your order/payment during the working day on which it is received. If it is received outside a working day, confirmation will be sent as soon as possible on the next working day. You will also receive a Cancellation Form with your confirmation. Double Reed Ltd. reserves the right to decline orders/purchases and in this event all monies shall be refunded.
All items are in stock unless otherwise stated, and are normally shipped within one working day (we will confirm when the goods will be shipped by email). We will liaise with you before shipping bassoons and crooks to arrange a convenient delivery day, as they will have to be signed for on delivery.
The goods are as described and represented in photographs on this web site. Double Reed Ltd. is committed to supplying goods as described and which meet your needs; in addition, we would like to emphasise that we are under a legal duty to supply the goods in conformity with the contract entered into.
The following sets out your right to cancel your contract with us under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You have additional rights to cancel if the goods are faulty. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions on our web site for information if the goods are faulty.
You have a right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receipt of the goods (if you receive the goods under our Try Before You Buy scheme, then the 14 calendar days starts from when you receive the goods under that scheme). Within the 14 days you must:
- inform us of your wish to cancel (you may use the Cancellation Form, but are not obligated to do so); and
- the goods must either be returned to us or, if we are picking up the goods, we must have agreed a day on which to pick up the goods
We will refund you the money paid within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods; we reserve the right to deduct from the refund any reduction in the value of the goods caused by wear and tear or damage while in your possession. In the case of second hand bassoons and crooks, we permit limited usage of the items commensurate with your need to assess them including but not limited to trying the items at home, in an orchestra, and with/by a music teacher or other expert advisor; for these items usage as indicated will not result in a deduction in the amount refunded.
You will have to pay for return postage. If the goods include a bassoon, we will arrange to pick up the goods using a carrier booked by us. If we arrange to pick up the goods, then we will deduct the cost of the postage from your refund. If you receive the goods under our Try Before You Buy Scheme you will have already paid return postage, and so no further amount will be deducted for postage.
